It's somewhat of a mystery to us as to how he does it, but Arnold Fruchtenbaum continues to come up with new, not to mention, extensive studies of the Scriptures. Maybe it has everything to do with his expert knowledge of Hebrew, Greek, the Talmud, the history of the Jews, the geography of Eretz Israel, a scholar's command of The Word - and the inspiration of the Ruach haKodesh.

We invite you to peruse this extensive list of one hundred and ninety Messianic Bible Studies, and then order a few. Each study is a solid foundation upon which you can stand - a whiteboard from which you can teach - or a podium from which you can preach the uncompromised truth to your congregation. We're confident you'll be impressed and eternally blessed, by the laser-like precision of Dr. Fruchtenbaum's anointed exegesis.

The former treatise I made, O Theophilus, concerning all that Jesus began both to do and to teach, until the day in which he was received up... (Acts 1:1-2a)

"Verse 1 gives us a connecting link with the Gospel of Luke. The same man wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, and that was Luke himself. When he talks about the former treatise in verse 1, he means the Gospel of Luke. Here, the author is connecting the Book of Acts with the Gospel of Luke. He says: I made, using the first person, because Luke himself is writing this book. His purpose with this book, as it was with the Gospel of Luke, is to convey accurate information. And like the Gospel of Luke, the Book of Acts is addressed to one individual, known as Theophilus.

The name Theophilus means “lover of God” or..." And thus begins Dr. Fruchtenbaum's study of The Acts of the Apostles in which the student is lead on an interesting journey through the entire Book of Acts and all of the following is covered in detail:

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. (Luke 10:17-20 KJV)

In this series, all that the Bible teaches about the holy angels is discussed at length.

Dr. Fruchtenbaum also examines the biography and the career of Satan based upon the six dwelling places he has either lived, is living, or will live in the future.

BIBLE BASICS includes five carefully selected studies which deliver a cogent primer on the Doctrine of the Scriptures.

Every bible student should possess a basic understanding of the supernatural origin and transmission of Scripture, as well as be able recognize the inherent divisions contained therein.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

In this series, Dr. Fruchtenbaum leads the student in a study of The Eight Covenants of the Bible to provide a better understanding of what is applicable today and what is not. He explains from Scripture how the first three covenants were made with humanity in general and the last five were made with the Jewish people in particular. The student will learn why some of the covenants were conditional and temporary, while others are unconditional and eternal.

Additionally, Dr. Fruchtenbaum discusses all seven of the The Dispensations of God as found in Scripture. The student will reap a fruitful understanding of these basics and gain the ability to more accurately divide the Word of Truth.

In The Nature of the Bible, Dr. Fruchtenbaum demonstrates how the Bible is unique as compared to the holy books of all other religions. The correlation between Scripture and the concept of divine revelation is covered in The Bible and Divine Revelation teaching. Finally, The Inspiration of the Scriptures study will show how indeed the Bible is the inerrant word of God.

EKKLESIA is the Greek word often translated as "church." Etymologically, this word is a combination of two words: ek, which means “out of,” and kaleo, which means, “to call.” So the word ekklesia means a “called-out assembly,” a group that is called out from the mass to form a distinct group in itself.

A biblical distinction vital to the proper exegesis of Scripture is the one between Israel and the Church. A failure to maintain that distinction will only result in a misinterpretation of what the Scriptures teach. Learn it, and you will be amazed at the clarity it brings to your understanding.

The composition of the Church, the Body of the Messiah, is a combination of Jews and Gentiles united together by faith in the Messiah. Ephesians 2:11-16 makes clear that there is no such thing as a Gentile church any more than there is a Jewish one. According to Romans 11:16-24, the Gentiles are grafted into a Jewish olive tree, not vice versa. This comprehensive series shines the brilliant light of proper Messianic Jewish perspective on this unique body of called out ones who have an awesome responsibility to the Jews, especially in these last days.

Dr. Fruchtenbaum leads the serious bible student step-by-step into a vibrant and complete understanding of what exactly the church is, its purpose, how one enters into the Body of Messiah, the differences between the invisible or universal church and the visible or local church, the ordinances of the church, the roles of men and women in the church, the Scriptural (often under attack) doctrine of the rapture of the church, biblical grace giving verses legalistic titheing, and the eternal riches we have received from the Jews in the person of Messiah Yeshua.

The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,

Speak to the children of Yisra'el, and tell them, The set feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.

Six days shall work be done: but on the seventh day is a Shabbat of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no manner of work. It is a Shabbat to the LORD in all your dwellings.

These are the set feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.
(Leviticus 23:1-4)

The seven feasts or holy seasons of the Lord (also referred to as the Feasts of Israel) are an outline of the entire program of redemption - from the death of Yeshua (Jesus) to the establishment of the Messianic Kingdom. The first four spring festivals were fulfilled by the program of the First Coming, while the last three fall festivals of Leviticus 23 will be fulfilled by the program of the Second Coming.

Today, there are nine major feasts or holy seasons of Israel. Seven of these were inaugurated by Moses in Leviticus 23. Of the two which were inaugurated after the Mosaic feasts, one is Channukah, the “Feast of the Dedication” or the “Feast of Lights”; and the other is the “Feast of Purim,” a feast inaugurated in the Book of Esther.

The New Moon Festival (Rosh Chodesh) is a frequent feast in the Scriptures, coming once a month, but it is seldom spoken about and seldom studied. The study of this particular feast will be discussed in four major categories: the name, Rosh Chodesh in the Scriptures, the Jewish calendar, and Rosh Chodesh in Judaism.

There are five special Levitical offerings and sacrifices outlined in the first seven chapters of the Book of Leviticus. It is important to clearly understand the origin and basic purposes of these Levitical sacrifices as a foundation to your study of the festivals.

Leviticus chapter 16 provides key details regarding The Day of Atonement. Dr. Fruchtenbaum examines this vital chapter in eight main divisions: the restrictions of the Holy of Holies, the preparations, the presentation of the sacrifices, the atonement for the priest, the atonement for the people, the cleansing of the participants, the restrictions and specifications, and the conclusion of the Day of Atonement.

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
(Isa 53:1)

"Anyone who sets himself to the task of seeking to know what the Old Testament has to say about the coming of the Messiah soon finds himself involved with a seeming paradox. At times, one even seems to be faced with an outright contradiction, for the Jewish prophets gave a twofold picture of the Messiah who was to come.

On the one hand, the inquirer will find numerous predictions regarding the Messiah which portray Him as One who is going to suffer humiliation, physical harm, and finally death in a violent manner. This death was stated by the Jewish prophets to be a substitutionary death for the sins of the Jewish people. On the other hand, he will find that the Jewish prophets also spoke of the Messiah coming as a conquering king who will destroy the enemies of Israel and set up the Messianic Kingdom of peace and prosperity.

Thus there is the twofold picture the Jewish prophets gave of the Messiah. For centuries past, during the formulation of the Talmud, the rabbis made serious studies of messianic prophecies and concluded that the prophets spoke of two different Messiahs. The Messiah who was to come, suffer, and die was termed Mashiach ben Yosef or Messiah, the Son of Joseph. The second Messiah who would then come following the first was termed Mashiach ben David or Messiah, the Son of David..."

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Yisra'el, and with the house of Yehudah... (Jer 31:31)

"Within the period of the Messianic Kingdom, Israel is a major theme of the Old Testament prophets. Indeed, it was the high point of Old Testament prophecy and every writing prophet—with the exception of Jonah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Malachi—had something to say about Israel. The last two prophets did make reference to the Second Coming and the Tribulation, which, in the wider context of the Prophets, implied a kingdom to follow. To spiritualize and allegorize away such a great amount of Scripture is to confuse the whole science of interpretation. There is no reason to spiritualize any of these prophecies any more than there is reason to do so with the first coming prophecies of the Messiah, those prophecies that deal with His virgin birth, His birth in Bethlehem, His death, or His physical Resurrection.

Because of the amount of revelation available on Israel in the Messianic Kingdom, this study will be divided into eight major sections: the four facets of the final restoration of Israel, other characteristics of Israel’s final restoration, the Millennial Mountain of Jehovah’s House, the Millennial Temple, the millennial system of priesthood and sacrifices, the millennial river, the Millennial Israel, and the Millennial Jerusalem."

The above excerpt from Dr. Fruchtenbaum's study entitled Israel in the Messianic Kingdom provides a brief sample of what awaits the student in this series on Prophecy and the Jew:

001: A study of the biography and the career of Satan based upon the six dwelling places he has either lived, is living, or will live in the future.

004: A study of the final war against the Jewish people which in turn will bring about the Second Coming and Israel's national salvation..
005: The study of Genesis 12:3 and how that principle has worked throughout Jewish history and again in Bible prophecy.
008: A study of what the Bible says about the different Arab states and how peace ultimately comes between Israel and the Arab states on one of three ways: by means of occupation, or by means of destruction, or by means of conversion..
010: A complete study of the Antichrist and all that the Bible teaches about him.
017: A study examining the literal belief in a messianic kingdom and its characteristics.

038: A study of the nine specific events that will lead up to the start of the Tribulation period.
039: A defense of the pre-tribulational rapture.

For Messiah has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another--

He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

so Messiah was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (Hebrews 9:24-28
)

King David, the sweet psalmist of Israel wrote "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." (Psalm 51:5) and he also wrote "The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD; And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!" (Psalm 21:1-2)

Milk has to do with the first principles. Milk has to do with the ABC's of the Scriptures. The meat of the Word of God has to do with advanced doctrinal truth and its application in the issues of life. The writer of the Book of Hebrews admonishes the believer to progress toward maturity in order to handle the deeper things of biblical doctrine. A mature believer has an unrestricted diet and can partake of solid food. The principles of milk should be settled once-and-for-all in the believer's early spiritual life. Did you drink all your milk? Are you sure? If not, Dr. Fruchtenbaum has just poured you a nice pure cold organic glass! Enjoy, and then let us press on unto perfection.

What is the basis given by Scripture to dedicate ourselves to the Lord, to make Him the Lord of our lives? In Scripture, dedication is always on the basis of blessings received. Because of what we have received from God, we should dedicate ourselves to God. Romans 12:1-2 states:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service.

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Paul’s exhortation to present ourselves, to dedicate ourselves, is on the basis of the mercies of God. The mercies of God is a one-statement summary of all that Paul wrote in the first eleven chapters of the Book of Romans. In light of what God has done for us by providing justification, sanctification, and glorification, in light of all these blessings we have received, we should dedicate our lives.

The same truth is found in I Corinthians 6:19-20: Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own; for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body. Because of the blessing, we have received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and because we have become a temple of the Holy Spirit, for these reasons, we should glorify...God in [our] body (excerpted from MBS-140).

Prayer is an integral part of our spiritual life, and so we have combined Dr. Fruchtenbaum's eight studies on Prayer with his eight studies on The Spiritual Life to provide you with this comprehensive series.

Dr. Fruchtenbaum covers it all... man's creation in God's image, the "nitty-gritty" details (our bodies are made of dusty clay afterall) of man's material composition, man's eternal immortal immaterial composition, the fall of man, the marring of God's image in man, man's death both spiritual and physical, how the Bible views death, the intermediate state, the place of the dead, and what eternal death is. Did we leave anything out? Ohh yes... man's resurrection and glorification too!

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DOWNLOAD ITEMS: Be sure to add catalog@ariel.org to your 'friends list' BEFORE placing your order! An automatically generated email containing your download links will be sent within a few minutes after checkout. Please enable your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, PowerMail, etc.) or web based email service (Yahoo!, AOL, Google, Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) to accept from catalog@ariel.org so you can receive your download links. This is especially important if you use a web based email service, as these services are particularly aggressive in flagging automatically generated emails as 'spam' or 'junk' - when often they are legitimate. Thank You.
